Notre Dame at Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Interstat) — Two teams looking to build momentum after rocky starts to their seasons will meet Saturday when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish visit the Arkansas Razorbacks at Razorback Stadium.

Notre Dame (1-2) is coming off a dominant 56-30 victory over Purdue, where its offense found its rhythm. Quarterbacks CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey combined for an efficient passing attack, while running back Jeremiyah Love rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the win, the Fighting Irish are seeking consistency after narrow losses to Texas A&M (41-40) and Miami (27-24).

Arkansas (2-2) aims to rebound from a heartbreaking 32-31 loss at Memphis. The Razorbacks’ offense, led by quarterback Taylen Green, has shown potency. Green threw for 325 yards and rushed for another 53 in the defeat. However, the Razorbacks have struggled against Power Five competition, also falling to Ole Miss 41-35 after posting blowout wins over Arkansas State and Alabama A&M to open the season.

Despite Arkansas being installed as a 4.5-point favorite by oddsmakers, the Interstat game simulator projects a tight contest, favoring Notre Dame 26-25. The over/under is set at 63.5.

The game presents a pivotal non-conference opportunity for both programs. For Notre Dame, a road win would even its record and provide a spark before a challenging stretch. For Arkansas, a victory would deliver a signature non-conference win as it prepares for a grueling Southeastern Conference schedule.
