WILMINGTON, N.C. (2026 CAA Baseball Championship) (Interstat) — The Monmouth Hawks erupted for five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning Thursday afternoon to pull away from the College of Charleston Cougars and claim a 7-2 victory in the opening round of the conference tournament. Monmouth, now 30-22, used a barrage of timely hits to erase a 2-0 deficit and seize control.
