LEWISBURG, Pa. (Interstat) — Bucknell Bison defeated the Navy Midshipmen 6-4 on Monday afternoon at Eugene B. Depew Field. The Bison trailed 4-0 after the first inning but capitalized on Navy errors to take the lead in the third and fourth innings. Michael Trommer doubled and drove in a run, finishing 2-for-4. Andrew Swenson added a sacrifice fly and a run batted in. Bucknell pitchers Everett Garber tossed 2.1 hitless innings with three strikeouts, and Brady Hoar allowed three earned runs over 5.2 innings while striking out two. Navy’s Tyler Grenn struck out four over 3.1 innings but surrendered two earned runs. The Midshipmen managed six hits, with Chris Klug driving in a run. Bucknell improved to 26-22, while Navy dropped to 30-19. The teams meet again Tuesday in the series finale.
