SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Kansas State Wildcats erupted for a nine-run fourth inning, erasing an early six-run deficit to power past the Iowa Hawkeyes 15-6 in the season opener for both teams Friday at Scottsdale Stadium. The game, which began in the afternoon and concluded under evening lights, saw the Wildcats overcome a disastrous start.
