PITTSBURGH (Interstat) — Antonio Doganiero pitched six strong innings and Trey Fenderson delivered a go-ahead two-run double in the eighth as Pittsburgh beat Notre Dame 6-3 on Thursday night at Petersen Sports Complex. The Panthers improved to 30-21 overall and 14-11 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Fightin’ Irish dropped to 28-21 and 9-16.
