(Interstat) — Zack Konstantinovsky pitched five innings of four-run, three-strikeout ball and Rutgers used a six-run seventh inning to defeat Northwestern 8-5 on Thursday evening at Rocky Miller Park. The Scarlet Knights improved to 25-27 overall and 25-27 in the Big Ten. The Wildcats fell to 20-29-1 and 20-29-1 in conference play. Rutgers outhit Northwestern 15-13.
