CINCINNATI (Interstat) — Luke Sefcik homered and drove in three runs as Cincinnati outlasted Wright State 8-5 on Tuesday night at Marge Schott Stadium. The Bearcats pounded 14 hits before a crowd of 1,265.

Wright State designated hitter Gus Gregory launched two home runs and had five RBIs, but the Raiders’ bullpen faltered in the sixth inning. After Sefcik’s tying RBI double, Jackson Smith followed with a two-run homer and Quinton Coats added a solo shot to give Cincinnati a decisive three-run rally.

The Bearcats improved to 21-10, while Wright State fell to 11-14. Cincinnati starter Chad Brown earned the win with three innings of relief, allowing one run. The result aligned with a Interstat projection that favored the Bearcats with a 63.7% win probability.
