Blue Hose Edge Catamounts in Midweek Road Victory

CULLOWHEE, N.C. (Interstat) — Matthew Rollison drove in four runs and Presbyterian’s bullpen delivered six and two-thirds scoreless innings in a 6-5 win over Western Carolina on Tuesday at Hennon Stadium.

The Blue Hose built a six-run lead by the fourth inning, keyed by Rollison’s two-run single in the third. Wyatt Stanley’s two home runs, including a two-run shot in the ninth, powered the Catamounts’ late rally that fell short.

Five Presbyterian relievers combined to allow no hits after the fifth inning. Griffin Guinther and Kaden Fuller provided scoreless relief for Western Carolina.

Presbyterian improved to 6-23. Western Carolina fell to 18-12.
