San Francisco at Nevada

RENO, Nev. (March 24, 2026) (Interstat) — The San Francisco Dons and Nevada Wolf Pack, both riding the momentum of high-scoring weekend series, will meet in a non-conference midweek matchup Tuesday at William Peccole Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. PDT under cloudy skies with temperatures near 75 degrees.

The Dons (12-10) arrive after taking three straight from Santa Clara, including a 6-5 walk-off win Sunday. Nevada (12-8) looks to rebound after dropping two of three to Air Force in an offensive shootout, falling 17-12 in the finale.

A key matchup will feature San Francisco’s steady starter Adrian Valdez against Nevada’s powerful bat Jayce Dobie. Valdez, a player to watch for the Dons, is coming off a strong 5-inning, 1-run outing in Sunday’s win. Over his last four starts, he has a 2.45 ERA, allowing just 10 hits in 20 innings pitched.

For the Wolf Pack, Dobie has been a consistent force. The first baseman is batting .429 (9-for-21) with two home runs and nine RBIs over his last six games. He went 3 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs in Sunday’s loss.

Both bullpens will be tested after taxing weekend series. San Francisco’s Chris Byhre, who struck out the side in his inning Sunday, could be a key factor. Nevada’s Eric Valdez provided 3 1/3 innings of hitless relief in the same game.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Wolf Pack are projected to win 7-5.

The Dons begin a three-game series against Seattle at home on Friday. Nevada opens a three-game set at Washington State on Friday.
