Tryon Powers Patriots to 16‑10 Comeback Win Over Red Raiders in Dallas Slugfest

DALLAS (Interstat) — Ben Tryon hit two home runs and drove in four runs Tuesday, rallying Dallas Baptist from an early 10-run deficit to a 16-10 victory over Texas Tech at Ellis Davis Field House.

The Patriots trailed 10-0 after two innings but scored nine runs in the fourth. Tryon’s two-run homer in the eighth provided insurance. Chayton Krauss also homered and had four RBIs for Dallas Baptist, which improved to 12-9.

Connor Shouse had three hits, including two homers, and three RBIs for the Red Raiders, who fell to 13-7. Texas Tech had 11 hits but its bullpen could not hold the large early lead, which was built on a three-run first-inning single by Caden Ferraro and a two-run homer by Robin Villeneuve.
