South Florida at Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — A surging South Florida team aims to extend its winning streak under rainy skies Monday when the Bulls visit the Jacksonville Dolphins at John Sessions Stadium.

First pitch is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2026, with a forecast of 73 degrees and rain.

The Bulls (13-3) enter riding a four-game win streak, including a three-game sweep of Southern where they outscored their opponent 30-4. South Florida’s offense erupted for 15 runs in Saturday’s series finale, powered by Jacob Green (2 for 3, 4 RBIs) and Bradke Lohry (2 for 2, 3 RBIs).

A key player to watch for USF is right-hander Michael Senay. In his last start on March 7, he allowed one earned run over five innings with five strikeouts in the 15-1 win over Southern. On Feb. 28, he threw seven no-hit innings in a 2-1 victory at UCF.

Jacksonville (9-6) looks to snap a five-game skid after being swept at home by UNC Wilmington. The Dolphins fell 7-2 on Sunday. Outfielder Abdriel Delgado provided a bright spot in the loss, going 2 for 2 with two RBIs. Delgado is batting .500 (4 for 8) over his last three games.

The Dolphins’ recent struggles follow a strong start that included a series win at UAB. Their pitching staff will be tested by a potent Bulls lineup that has scored nine or more runs in seven of its 13 wins.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of South Florida 8, Jacksonville 5.

The teams are scheduled to meet again next Tuesday, March 17, in Tampa.

Following this game, South Florida hosts Columbia for a four-game series beginning Friday. Jacksonville travels to West Georgia for a three-game series starting Friday.
