VINEYARD, Utah (Interstat) -- The Northern Colorado Bears erupted for 10 runs in the first two innings and rode a dominant relief performance from Trevor Landen to a 14-3 victory over the Utah Valley Wolverines in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday at Brent Brown Ballpark. The result defied pregame projections, as Interstat’s game simulator had forecast a Utah Valley win by a score of 8-1, giving the Wolverines a 74.1 percent probability of victory.
