Kramkowski Dominates as Wildcats Shut Out Bulldogs
TUCSON, Ariz. (Interstat) — Owen Kramkowski struck out 12 over six dominant innings, leading Arizona to a 6-0 victory over Fresno State at Hi Corbett Field on Friday.
Kramkowski allowed five hits and walked none, rebounding sharply from a rough outing his last time out. The Wildcats gave him immediate support with a four-run first inning, highlighted by Tony Lira’s three-run homer. Maddox Mihalakis added two RBIs for Arizona.
Despite collecting eight hits, Fresno State failed to score. Weston Thornbury threw three hitless innings in relief for the Bulldogs, but Arizona’s early outburst proved insurmountable. The Wildcats improved to 4-9, while the Bulldogs fell to 7-5. The teams continue their series Saturday.
