BATON ROUGE (Interstat) — Liam Peterson pitched a complete-game one-hitter and Florida’s offense erupted for 11 runs as the Gators routed LSU 11-1 in a Southeastern Conference game that was called after seven innings Friday afternoon at Alex Box Stadium/Skip Bertman Field. Peterson struck out 11 and allowed only a solo home run to Steven Milam in the fourth inning. The right-hander walked two and did not allow a hit beyond Milam’s blast, retiring the final 10 batters he faced.
