STARKVILLE, Miss. (Interstat) — Mississippi State completed a three-game Southeastern Conference sweep of LSU with a 13-8 victory Sunday afternoon at Dudy Noble Field, Polk-DeMent Stadium. The Bulldogs, who edged the Tigers by one run Saturday and by two in 11 innings Friday, improved to 34-10 overall while LSU dropped to 24-21. LSU struck first with three runs in the opening inning.
