LAS VEGAS (Interstat) — UNLV scored twice in the seventh inning to rally past Cal State Fullerton 4-3 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday night at Earl Wilson Stadium.

Drew Barragan gave the Runnin’ Rebels an early lead with a first-inning solo home run. The Titans tied it in the seventh on RBI singles from Hunter Meyer and Cameron Kim. UNLV answered in the bottom half, taking the lead for good on a bases-loaded walk by Jack Salmon and a fielder’s choice RBI from Gunnar Myro.

Paul Contreras homered for Cal State Fullerton in the eighth. Five UNLV relievers, led by Colton Sundloff, Jase Evangelista and Ryan Marton, combined for 7 2/3 innings of one-run ball. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Titans.
