VINEYARD, UT (March 8, 2026) (Interstat) — Hunter Katschke homered and drove in four runs as Utah Valley routed Northern Colorado 14-4 in a non-conference baseball game Sunday evening at Brent Brown Ballpark.

The Wolverines (8-7) erased an early 4-1 deficit with relentless offense, scoring in six of their eight innings. Katschke’s three-run homer in the fifth inning broke the game open, part of a 14-hit team performance. Garrett Miller earned the win, allowing four runs over 5 2/3 innings.

Ethan Mooser hit a three-run homer for the Bears (2-16), who tallied nine hits but could not contain Utah Valley. The Wolverines scored four runs in the sixth inning, aided by a Brody Block RBI double and a wild pitch. Northern Colorado starter Mitch Haythorn took the loss.
