Georgia at Kennesaw State

Bulldogs, Owls Set for Midweek Clash in Kennesaw

KENNESAW, Ga. (Interstat) — The red-hot Georgia Bulldogs look to continue their strong start to the season when they visit the Kennesaw State Owls in a midweek nonconference baseball game Tuesday at Fred Stillwell Stadium.

First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. under clear skies with a game-time temperature near 61 degrees.

Georgia (10-2) enters riding a four-game winning streak, including a three-game weekend sweep of Oakland where the Bulldogs outscored the Golden Grizzlies 32-3. The Bulldogs’ offense has been potent, averaging over 10 runs per game during their current streak.

A player to watch for Georgia is right-hander Dylan Vigue, who is expected to see action on the mound. Vigue has been effective in recent relief appearances, tossing 4 1/3 innings and allowing two earned runs in a win over Oakland on Sunday. In his previous outing, he threw four scoreless innings with six strikeouts in a 22-0 rout of Samford.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 win over Oakland on Sunday, keyed by a home run from third baseman Tre Phelps.

Kennesaw State (5-5) salvaged the finale of its three-game series with West Virginia, winning 7-6 on Sunday. Third baseman Cooper Williams powered the victory, going 3 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs. Williams has been a bright spot, homering in two of his last three games.

The Owls’ season has been marked by inconsistency, following a series loss at Florida with a 1-2 weekend against West Virginia before Sunday’s win.

According to Interstat, Georgia is a significant favorite. The game simulator projects an 8-5 Bulldogs victory, and the ELO rating system gives Georgia a 72.80% probability to win.

This is the first meeting between the programs this season. Kennesaw State won the last matchup, 9-4, on Feb. 17, 2026.

Georgia continues a busy week with a home game against Western Carolina on Wednesday. Kennesaw State opens a four-game home series with Samford on Friday.

Probable Starters: UGA: RHP Dylan Vigue (key bullpen arm). KSU: TBA.

Series Note: Georgia leads the all-time series 12-4, but Kennesaw State has won two of the last three meetings.
