PUEBLA (Interstat) — Soles defeated Lobos Plateados 80-73 on Thursday, completing a two-game LNBP sweep at this venue. Soles won the opener 86-64 on Wednesday. Soles led 22-16 after the first quarter, 41-39 at halftime and 59-55 entering the fourth. The visiting side finished with a 21-18 edge in the final period. Soles improved to 2-0; Lobos Plateados fell to 1-2. Jordan Sakho had 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Connor Zinaich led Soles with 19 points, adding five rebounds and two blocks. Elias King led Lobos Plateados with 23 points, two rebounds, two assists and a block. Shaquille Johnson scored 11 points with five rebounds; Jose Gutierrez contributed five points and nine rebounds; Cecil Williams scored seven points. Philip Scrubb added 12 points, four rebounds and three assists, T.J. Campbell had six points and four assists, Erik Thomas posted seven points and five rebounds, and Brian Martinez chipped in five points and two rebounds.
