OBERÁ, Argentina (Interstat) — Rodrigo Gallegos scored 19 points and added six rebounds and two assists to lead Ferro Carril Oeste past Gimnasia Indalo 81-73 on Saturday in Liga A play at Hector Etchart Arena.

Ferro trailed 19-10 after the first quarter but outscored Gimnasia 26-17 in the second to take a 36-36 halftime tie. The hosts then used a 26-20 third quarter to pull ahead.

Emiliano Lezcano added 20 points and three rebounds for Ferro, which improved to 27-18. Jano David Martinez contributed 12 points, four rebounds and five assists, while Kevin Hernandez posted 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Emiliano Toretta led Gimnasia with 21 points and four rebounds. Bryan Carabali recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Anyelo Cisneros Sierra had 15 points and seven rebounds. Gimnasia, now 27-14, shot less efficiently from the floor than Ferro.

The game marked the third meeting between the teams in six days, with Ferro winning two of the three matchups.
