BRASÍLIA, Brazil (Interstat) — UNICEUB defeated Flamengo 85-80 on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Ginasio da ASCEB in a Brazilian NBB game. UNICEUB (28-10) built a 21-18 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 39-32 at halftime. Flamengo (33-19) cut the deficit to 58-50 entering the fourth quarter before outscoring UNICEUB 30-27 in the final period, but the home team held on.

Daniel Von Haydin recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes for UNICEUB. Facundo Corvalan added 21 points and six assists, while Rafael Paulichi contributed 15 points and three rebounds. For Flamengo, Shaquille Johnson scored 21 points with three rebounds and two assists. Alex Negrete had 17 points, five rebounds and five assists. Gui Deodato chipped in nine points, three rebounds and four assists.
