(Interstat) — Bauru led 24-14 after the first quarter and 53-31 at halftime, building a lead that proved insurmountable despite a 26-point third quarter from Paulistano. Andre Barbosa contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds for Bauru, while Gustavo Santana added 19 points.

Guilherme Abreu paced Paulistano with 24 points, and Lucas Siewert chipped in 17 points and six rebounds.

Bauru shot 34 of 67 from the field, 9 of 25 from three-point range and 11 of 15 at the free-throw line. Paulistano shot 30 of 61 overall, 8 of 26 from beyond the arc and 7 of 11 on free throws. Bauru held a 34-23 rebounding advantage, including 11 offensive boards, and forced 15 turnovers while committing 13.

The win improved Bauru’s season record to 18-18, while Paulistano fell to 25-11.
