TORONTO (Interstat) — Javan Johnson scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Scarborough Shooting Stars defeated the Hamilton Honey Badgers 91-77 on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

Scarborough improved to 2-0, while Hamilton fell to 0-2. The Shooting Stars led 21-21 after the first quarter and took a 48-45 halftime edge with a 27-24 second quarter. Scarborough then extended its lead with a 21-15 third quarter and closed with a 22-17 fourth.

Kellen Tynes added nine points, seven rebounds and five assists. Michael Foster contributed nine points, five rebounds and two blocks. Terquavion Smith had eight points and four assists, and Charles Bediako added seven points and two blocks. Jaden Campbell posted three points and four rebounds, while Khalil Miller added two points and two blocks.

Hamilton, which lost 117-104 to Scarborough on Saturday, had no player score in double figures.

Scarborough has won its opening two games of the Canadian Elite Basketball League season.
