SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (Interstat) — Grant Basile scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Quebradillas Piratas past the Santurce Cangrejeros 90-85 on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum.

Quebradillas built an early lead, scoring 26 points in the first quarter to Santurce’s 30, then outscored the home team 24-21 in the second to take a 50-51 halftime deficit into the break. The third quarter saw both teams score 15 points apiece. Quebradillas sealed the victory with a 21-21 fourth quarter.

Emmanuel Mudiay added 21 points and five assists for Quebradillas, while Carlos Emory contributed 11 points and six rebounds. William Cruz also scored 11 points.

Isaiah Pineiro notched 15 points and 10 rebounds for Santurce. Angel Rodriguez matched Pineiro with 15 points and added six assists. Ian Clark chipped in 11 points.

The Piratas improved to 8-16 with the win, while Santurce dropped to 9-11. Quebradillas had lost its previous meeting with Santurce, 96-95, on April 26. Basile, the top star for Quebradillas, came off a strong stretch that included 16 points and 12 rebounds against Ponce on May 29.
