CORDOBA, Argentina (Interstat) — Instituto Cordoba erased a fourth-quarter deficit with a 25-point final period to edge Obera 70-68 in Argentinian Liga A action on Monday. After trailing for much of the night, the home team outscored Obera 25-14 in the last quarter to secure the comeback victory at Angel Sandrin.

Nicolas Copello led all scorers with 22 points for Instituto Cordoba, which improved to 7-2. Santiago Barrales scored 17 points for Obera, which fell to 4-3. Both teams struggled from the floor, shooting under 40%, but Instituto Cordoba’s 10 offensive rebounds and a 14-for-19 performance from the free-throw line proved critical in the narrow win.
