ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — Jessica Shepard had a triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, and Paige Bueckers scored 19 points as the Dallas Wings beat the Los Angeles Sparks 97-77 on Thursday night at College Park Center. Maddy Siegrist added 12 points for Dallas, while Arike Ogunbowale scored 11 and Kitija Laksa added 10. Awak Kuier contributed seven points, five rebounds and six blocks. Nneka Ogwumike led Los Angeles with 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Dearica Hamby scored 14. Dallas shot 38 of 75 from the floor, made 10 of 30 from three-point range and blocked 11 shots. Los Angeles shot 29 of 78, made 7 of 25 from deep and committed 13 turnovers. Dallas committed 18 turnovers. The Wings pulled away after halftime. Dallas improved to 23-16, while Los Angeles fell to 15-25. Attendance was 6,251.
