Indiana vs. Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks, both seeking their first win of the season, meet Wednesday night at Crypto.com Arena in an early-season WNBA showdown.

Indiana (0-1) opened its campaign with a 107-104 home loss to the Dallas Wings on Saturday. Guard Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 30 points, three rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes. Aliyah Boston added 23 points and four rebounds, and Caitlin Clark chipped in 20 points, five rebounds and seven assists. The Fever’s three star guards combined for 73 points but could not overcome a late Dallas push.

Los Angeles (0-1) also dropped its opener, falling 105-78 at home to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday. Forward Nneka Ogwumike posted 19 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Guard Kelsey Plum scored 27 points and dished two assists. The Sparks struggled defensively, allowing the Aces to shoot over 50 percent from the field.

Mitchell and Ogwumike are the players to watch. Mitchell’s 30-point outing against Dallas continued her strong scoring form, while Ogwumike’s double-double showed her two-way value.

Indiana is a 2.5-point favorite, according to BetMGM Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 182.5 total points.

After Wednesday’s game, the Fever return home to host the Washington Mystics on Friday, followed by a two-game series against the Seattle Storm on Saturday and Sunday. The Sparks begin a three-game homestand against the Toronto Tempo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. PDT.
