Las Vegas vs. Connecticut

WNBA: Las Vegas Aces at Connecticut Sun

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (Interstat) — The Las Vegas Aces visit the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Mohegan Sun Arena in a WNBA matchup between teams seeking consistency early in the season.

Las Vegas (1-1) enters after a dominant 105-78 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday. Jackie Young led the Aces with 20 points, five rebounds and nine assists in 31 minutes. A’ja Wilson added 19 points and four rebounds, while NaLyssa Smith contributed 12 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Connecticut (0-2) is still searching for its first win after an 89-82 loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday. Aneesah Morrow posted her first double-double of the season with 17 points and 16 rebounds in 31 minutes. Brittney Griner added 16 points and six rebounds.

Young has been productive through two games. She scored 12 points with six rebounds and three assists in a season-opening 99-66 loss to Phoenix on May 9. Morrow has also been consistent, recording 15 points and six rebounds in a 106-75 loss to New York on May 8.

The Sun will try to avoid an 0-3 start against an Aces team that found its rhythm offensively in its last outing. Las Vegas shot well and moved the ball effectively, with Young orchestrating the offense.

Wednesday’s game marks the first of two consecutive meetings between these teams. They will play again Friday, May 15, at Mohegan Sun Arena.
