SEATTLE (Interstat) — Two struggling WNBA teams searching for consistency meet Sunday when the Washington Mystics visit the Seattle Storm at Key Arena.

Washington (2-2) dropped its most recent outing, a 92-69 loss at Dallas on Monday, while Seattle (1-4) fell at home to Connecticut 80-78 on Wednesday in a contest that slipped away late. The Interstat game simulator projects a razor-thin margin, forecasting a 95-94 Washington victory.

Players to Watch

Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen has been a consistent force. Over her past four games, she has posted three double-doubles, including a 25-point, 13-rebound effort in a 104-102 overtime win at Indiana on May 15. She also recorded 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 98-93 overtime loss to New York on May 10, and 12 points and 16 rebounds in a 68-65 victory at Toronto on May 8. In Monday’s loss, she finished with 9 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes.

Storm forward Mackenzie Holmes is coming off a season-high performance. In Wednesday’s loss, she logged 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes, providing a bright spot for a Seattle offense that has struggled to find rhythm. Earlier this season, she contributed 5 points and 6 rebounds in a win at Connecticut on May 10 but played limited minutes in two subsequent losses.
