Bailey Gray added an assist with two shots on goal, and Lexie Lonask also recorded an assist. Mark, a center, is Delaware’s player to watch. Delaware will counter with Mark, Gray and Lonask as it tries to hand the Garnet Chargers their first loss. The game is the first of a two-game series between the teams, with the second scheduled for the following day.
Union continues a road-heavy early schedule after this series, while Delaware remains in the opening stretch of its season. The Garnet Chargers have been efficient away from home, winning all four games, and will try to keep that form intact before returning for a home series against Quinnipiac and Princeton. Delaware will seek consistency in front of its home crowd and aim to build on its lone win of the season.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of Union 2, Delaware 0.
