HAMILTON, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Colgate Raiders will host the Saint Cloud State Huskies in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey game on Saturday at Starr Arena in Hamilton, N.Y. Colgate is 3-0 this season, while Saint Cloud State is 4-1. The Raiders will be the home team, and the Huskies will be the visiting team.

Colgate won the teams’ most recent meeting 4-2. In that game, Sofianna Sundelin scored twice and recorded seven shots on goal and one hit for Saint Cloud State. Alice Sauriol added two assists, and Maélie Pion had one assist and four shots on goal. For Colgate, Brooke Davis made 27 saves on 29 shots, Madeline Palumbo scored with six shots on goal, and Chloe Goofers had one goal and one assist.

Sundelin is a player to watch for Saint Cloud State. Over her past five games, she has four goals, six assists, 19 shots on goal and one hit. She scored twice with seven shots on goal in the most recent meeting with Colgate, had two assists in each game at Minnesota State, and posted one goal and one assist in each of two games against Connecticut. Her two assists at Minnesota State came in a 3-0 win and a 5-2 win, and her one-goal, one-assist efforts against Connecticut came in 4-2 wins.

Davis is a player to watch for Colgate. The goaltender has two wins in her past two starts, with 42 saves on 47 shots. She stopped 27 of 29 shots against Saint Cloud State and made 15 saves on 18 shots in a win at RIT. Her 27 saves came in Colgate’s win over Saint Cloud State in the last meeting.

Saint Cloud State’s other results this season include 3-0 and 5-2 wins at Minnesota State and two 4-2 wins over Connecticut. The Huskies had won four straight before the loss to Colgate. Colgate also beat RIT 4-2 at home and 6-3 on the road. Colgate’s wins include one over Saint Cloud State and two over RIT.

After Saturday, Saint Cloud State will play two games at St. Thomas before hosting Bemidji State for two games. The Huskies also will host Wisconsin and Ohio State for two-game series and will face Minnesota home and away. Colgate will visit Boston University for two games before a two-game series at Ohio State. The Raiders later will host RPI and Union, visit Princeton and Quinnipiac, and host Dartmouth and Harvard.
