TROY (Interstat) — Robert Morris will visit RPI on Friday for a women’s NCAA Division I hockey game at Houston Field House in Troy, N.Y. The Colonials are the visiting team, and the Engineers are the home team. Robert Morris enters with a 1-3 record. RPI enters with a 1-4 record. The game is part of the early portion of the season for both programs.

Robert Morris is coming off a 4-1 loss at Penn State. Jessica MacKinnon scored one goal and recorded one shot on goal and one hit in that game. Alaina Giampietro, a left wing, recorded one assist, and Maggie Hatch, a goaltender, made 48 saves on 52 shots in the loss. MacKinnon, a center, had one goal and two assists with four shots on goal and two penalty minutes in an 8-3 win over Post. She also had five shots on goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to Post. The Colonials also lost 5-3 at Penn State. Their other results this season include the 8-3 win over Post and the 2-1 overtime loss to Post.

RPI is coming off a 2-1 overtime win over Northeastern. Sadie Bellissimo, a goaltender, made 41 saves on 42 shots in the victory. Mia Montanari, a right wing, added one assist and four shots on goal, while Barbora Cerna-Proskova, a right wing, scored one goal on one shot. Bellissimo also made 22 saves on 26 shots in a 5-3 loss at Minnesota State. The Engineers also lost 4-1 at Minnesota State, 3-0 at Mercyhurst and 3-1 at Mercyhurst.

MacKinnon is a player to watch for Robert Morris. Bellissimo is a player to watch for RPI.
