ERIE, Pa. (Interstat) — Post will open a two-game women’s NCAA Division I hockey series against Robert Morris on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at Mercyhurst Ice Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Eagles are the visiting team and will seek their first victory of the season. Robert Morris will play its season opener as the home team, with the Colonials beginning a new campaign after a 3-2 win over Delaware on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026.

Post is 0-2 after losses to Lindenwood. The Eagles fell 5-0 on Friday, Sept. 18, and then dropped a 7-0 decision on Saturday, Sept. 19. In the most recent meeting, Lindenwood scored seven unanswered goals. Anna Dosenbach stopped 17 of 18 shots in net for Post. Anna Brannare recorded one shot, and Layla Davis was listed among the team’s contributors. Post has been shut out in both games and will need a stronger effort against the Colonials.

Robert Morris has yet to play this season and will seek a sharp start on home ice. Its last game came in February, when it edged Delaware 3-2. The Colonials will host the second game of this series against Post on Saturday, Sept. 26, before traveling to Penn State on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3. They also play at RPI on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, host Syracuse on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, visit Minnesota State on Oct. 23, and meet Yale on Oct. 24.

For Post, Dosenbach remains the player to watch. The goaltender faced heavy pressure against Lindenwood and made 17 saves in the Sept. 19 loss. Post’s schedule continues with a rematch at Robert Morris on Sept. 26, then a trip to Quinnipiac on Oct. 6. The Eagles host Long Island on Oct. 9 and visit Long Island on Oct. 10. Later games include road dates at Stonehill on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, at Merrimack on Oct. 23, and at Franklin Pierce on Nov. 6 and Nov. 7. Saint Michael’s visits Post on Nov. 13.

The matchup gives Post a chance to build momentum before a busy October, while Robert Morris looks to begin the season with a home win. The Colonials will aim to take advantage of home ice and an early schedule that includes the second game of the series against the Eagles. Post will seek more offensive zone time and support for Dosenbach after Brannare was credited with one shot in its latest outing.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of Robert Morris 2, Post 1.
