MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. (Interstat) — The New Hampshire Wildcats will open the 2026-27 women’s NCAA Division I hockey season as the visiting team against the St. Thomas Tommies on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights, Minn. St. Thomas will serve as the home team for the first game of a two-game series. Both teams enter the season with 0-0 records.

New Hampshire’s first four games are on the road before its home opener against Boston University on Oct. 9. The first four games for St. Thomas are scheduled at home, including the two-game series against New Hampshire and a two-game set against Ohio State on Oct. 2-3.

New Hampshire closed its most recent season with a 5-4 loss at Holy Cross on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. The Wildcats are scheduled to play St. Thomas again on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, before visiting Long Island for games on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, and Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. New Hampshire then returns home to face Boston University on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, before traveling to Northeastern on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026.

The Wildcats’ October schedule also includes home games against Saint Lawrence on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, and Friday, Oct. 16, 2026. New Hampshire is set to host Stonehill on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, then visit Harvard on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, and Merrimack on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026.

St. Thomas enters its opener after finishing the most recent season with a 4-1 loss at Ohio State on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. The Tommies will host New Hampshire for the first two games of their schedule before welcoming Ohio State to St. Thomas Ice Arena on Friday, Oct. 2, 2026, and Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026.

St. Thomas then is scheduled to visit Minnesota-Duluth on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, and Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. The Tommies return home to face Saint Cloud State on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, and Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026. Later in October, St. Thomas is set to host Minnesota State on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, before visiting Minnesota State on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. The Tommies are also scheduled to play at Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026.

The game is the first meeting of the season between the programs and the opening contest of the 2026-27 campaign for both teams. New Hampshire and St. Thomas will play again the following day at the same venue.
