HAMDEN, Conn. (Interstat) — Margot Norehad scored her second goal of the game 4:19 into overtime, lifting Brown to a 3-2 victory over Quinnipiac in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey game Saturday at TD Bank Sports Center.

Norehad’s winner gave the Bears a split of the weekend series after a 6-3 loss Friday. Brown built a 2-0 lead on goals from Anya Zupkofska in the first period and Norehad in the second. Quinnipiac’s Kahlen Lamarche scored twice, tying the game late in the third period to force overtime before Norehad’s decisive strike.

Brown improved to 17-13-2. Quinnipiac, which outshot the Bears 24-21, fell to 24-8-3. The teams conclude their regular season series here Sunday.
