CHENGDU, China (Interstat) — Sichuan cruised to a 97-72 victory over Xinjiang in a Women’s Chinese Basketball Association game Wednesday behind a stellar performance from guard Siyu Wang.

Wang nearly recorded a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, nine assists and five rebounds to lead Sichuan. Khaalia Hillsman added 23 points and 12 rebounds. Sichuan shot 55.6% from the floor and was a perfect 23 for 23 from the free-throw line.

Xinjiang struggled offensively, shooting just 33.3% overall and 5 for 33 from three-point range. Wu Tongtong posted 15 points and 10 assists for Xinjiang in the loss.

The win improves Sichuan’s record to 9-4, while Xinjiang falls to 6-7.
