VENEZIA, Italy (Interstat) — Campobasso defeated Reyer Venezia 55-50 in a low-scoring Italy A1 women’s professional basketball game Sunday.

The visiting squad avenged an October loss to Venezia with a gritty defensive performance. Reshanda Gray led Campobasso with 13 points. Lorela Cubaj posted a double-double for Venezia with 10 rebounds and eight points, while Kaila Charles added a team-high 12 points.

Campobasso improved to 14-6 across all competitions. Reyer Venezia, the home team, fell to 17-5.
