Neftyanik vs. Enisey

Preview: Enisey Hosts Neftyanik in Russian Women’s Basketball Clash

KRASNOYARSK, Russia (Interstat) — Two teams seeking to reverse difficult starts to the season will meet Saturday when Enisey hosts Neftyanik in a Russian women’s professional basketball league matchup.

The game, scheduled for Jan. 10, 2026, at Enisey’s home court in Krasnoyarsk, pits a pair of clubs with a combined record of 7-24 across all competitions. The home side holds a slight edge in the standings at 5-11, while Neftyanik arrives with a 2-13 mark.

Neftyanik will look to build on a more competitive recent performance, despite a 77-65 loss to Nika on Jan. 7. In that game, guard Andie Easley led the way with 22 points and five assists in 28 minutes. Easley has been a bright spot, averaging 11 points over her last three contests. Center Anna Pachurina added five rebounds and four blocks in the loss to Nika.

Enisey last played on Dec. 24, 2025, falling 69-66 to Ivanovo. Their most recent victory was a 78-63 road win at Samara on Dec. 8.

The season’s first head-to-head meeting provides a blueprint for a close game. On Oct. 25, 2025, Enisey edged Neftyanik 64-61. Neftyanik will aim to avenge that narrow defeat and snap a three-game losing streak overall.

For Enisey, the extended break since their last game could provide rest or disrupt rhythm. Key contributors include center Elizaveta Kolotovkina and guard Nina Ulchenkova.

The matchup represents a critical opportunity for both sides to gain momentum. Neftyanik, anchored by Easley’s scoring, will try to secure just its third win. Enisey, meanwhile, aims to defend its home floor and improve its positioning before a tough upcoming stretch that features games against powerhouses UMMC and Nadezhda.

Tip-off is set for Saturday in Krasnoyarsk.
