HEFEI, China (Interstat) — Jaime Nared scored 28 points to power Hefei past Xiamen 78-58 in a women’s professional basketball game Wednesday.

Hefi avenged a loss to Xiamen from three days prior, using a balanced effort to improve its season record to 4-2. Nared, a guard from Portland, Oregon, added six rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. Diamond Johnson contributed 13 points and five assists for the hosts.

Xiamen, which fell to 3-3, was led by Aisha Sheppard’s 24 points. Peng Shiqing recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Hefei controlled the game throughout, building a consistent lead after a competitive first half.
