SAMARA, Russia (Interstat) — Brooke McCarty Williams scored 24 points to lead Dynamo Moscow to an 89-73 victory over Samara in a women’s professional basketball game Wednesday.

The visiting Dynamo, who improved to 7-7 across all competitions, controlled the game behind McCarty Williams, who also grabbed nine rebounds. Anna Kuznetsova added 14 points for Moscow. Samara, which fell to 2-12, was led by Sabina Abaidullina’s 17 points and seven rebounds. Julia Poluyanova contributed 11 points. It was Dynamo Moscow’s second win over Samara this season, having also defeated them 78-59 in October.
