DANDENONG, Australia (Interstat) — Cayla George dominated with 24 points and 16 rebounds Tuesday afternoon to lead Southside to an 86-58 victory over Geelong in a Women’s National Basketball League game.

George, a 6-foot-3 center, added three assists and two blocks in 34 minutes as the home team controlled the contest. Maddison Rocci contributed 21 points and seven assists for Southside, which improved to 4-7. Isabelle Bourne added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Mackenzie Clinch Hoycard scored 13 points to pace Geelong, which fell to 3-10. The teams will meet again Jan. 3 in Southside.
