Eneos vs. Haneda

Preview: Eneos Looks to Continue Momentum Against Struggling Haneda

TOKYO (Interstat) — The Eneos women’s professional basketball team will look to build on a recent victory and improve its standing when it visits the last-place Haneda squad on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, in a Japan league matchup.

Eneos (11-13 overall) enters the contest coming off an 83-76 home win over the Toy. Rabbits on Jan. 25. Haneda (2-22) seeks to end a prolonged slump, having lost its last two games by a combined 56 points to Fujitsu.

The teams met most recently on Jan. 31, but no result from that game was provided. In their last recorded meetings in November 2025, Eneos secured two decisive victories, 77-71 and 72-42.

A key player to watch for Eneos is forward Evelyn Mawuli, who is coming off a dominant 31-point, 9-rebound performance in 39 minutes during the Jan. 25 win. She has been a consistent offensive force for her team.

Haneda will rely on center Channon Fluker, who has posted strong individual numbers despite her team’s losses. She averaged 18.5 points and 9 rebounds in the two recent defeats to Fujitsu.

The matchup presents a clear contrast in season trajectories. Eneos has shown the ability to string together wins, while Haneda has managed only two victories all season, with its last win coming on Dec. 28, 2025, against the Toy. Rabbits.

For Haneda, the game represents a critical opportunity to find a rare positive result at home. For Eneos, it is a chance to solidify its record and gain confidence before a three-game series against Fujitsu next week.

Tipoff is scheduled for Sunday in Tokyo.
