HERLEV, Denmark (Interstat) — Aabyhoj defeated Herlev 65-55 in a Denmark-organized basketball game Sunday behind a balanced scoring effort. Caroline Wich led Aabyhoj with 14 points and six rebounds. Despite a game-high 20 points from Malou Lachenmeier and a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double from Caroline Rasmussen, Herlev could not overcome a tough shooting afternoon. The win improves Aabyhoj’s season record to 2-1, while Herlev falls to 1-2. Aabyhoj next plays host to SISU on Oct. 18.
