Tresnjevka vs. Castors Braine
BRAINE, Belgium (Interstat) — Tresnjevka looks for a measure of revenge when it visits Castors Braine in a Eurocup Women matchup on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, just over a month after a decisive home loss to the Belgian side.
The teams last met on Oct. 22, where Castors Braine secured a commanding 77-59 victory in Croatia. Tresnjevka (7-5) enters this contest with momentum, coming off an 80-73 victory over Zadar on Saturday. Guard Nika Rodek nearly recorded a triple-double in that win, dishing 11 assists to go with eight rebounds and five points. Center Ana Vojtulek led the scoring with 20 points.
Conversely, Castors Braine (3-2) is looking to rebound from a lopsided 86-59 road loss to Campobasso on Nov. 5. Forward Alicia Courthiau was a bright spot in that defeat, scoring 20 points.
Tresnjevka’s season has been marked by inconsistency, with dominant wins like a 121-39 rout of Medvescak followed by heavy defeats, including a 96-44 loss to the same Campobasso team that recently handled Castors Braine.
The home team has had a lighter schedule but holds a key head-to-head advantage. The rematch in Belgium will test whether Tresnjevka can adjust from the previous encounter or if Castors Braine can re-establish its defensive pressure to protect its home court.
