SODERTALJE, Sweden (Interstat) — Sodertalje avenged an early-season loss with an 89-72 victory over Norrkoping in a women’s professional basketball game Saturday.

Playing on the road at Norrkoping, Sodertalje controlled the game to improve its season record to 10-7. Norrkoping fell to 8-9. The result flipped both the previous meeting’s outcome, a three-point Norrkoping win in November, and a pregame statistical projection that favored the home team.

Laura Zolper led a balanced Sodertalje attack. Zipporah Broughton was the key performer for Norrkoping in the losing effort. The game was part of the Swedish league schedule.
