BRONI, Italy (Interstat) — Liz Scott recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead San Martino to a 74-59 victory over Broni in an Italy A1 women’s professional basketball game Sunday.

San Martino avenged a December loss to Broni, controlling the game throughout. Scott, coming off a 19-point, 15-rebound performance in her previous outing, anchored the effort in 36 minutes. Raelin D’Alie added 14 points and five assists for the visitors.

Broni, which was a statistical favorite pregame, received 21 points from Madison Hayes and 18 from Jillian Archer but could not overcome a poor shooting night. San Martino improved to 8-12 overall, while Broni fell to 7-12.
