CB Isla Bonita vs. Edbaser

Preview: CB Isla Bonita Looks to Solidify Standing Against Struggling Edbaser

ANDRATX, Spain (Interstat) — A matchup of teams at opposite ends of the Spain LF women’s professional basketball table is set for Saturday when CB Isla Bonita visits Edbaser.

The game, scheduled for April 11, 2026, in Andratx, pits a Bonita squad (12-10) aiming for postseason positioning against an Edbaser side (1-23) mired in a difficult season.

CB Isla Bonita enters having lost a narrow 74-71 road game to Claret Valencia on March 29. In that contest, forward Elze Motekaityte led the way with 18 points and seven rebounds. Motekaityte, a key player to watch, is averaging 15.5 points over her last two outings.

Edbaser seeks to end a prolonged slump, having last won on Jan. 17. The team is coming off a 69-54 home loss to Almeda on March 28, where guard Andrea Peregrina scored 18 points. Peregrina has been a consistent bright spot, averaging 15 points over her previous two games.

The season’s only prior meeting heavily favored Bonita, which secured a 68-51 home victory over Edbaser on Dec. 21, 2025.

For Bonita, support for Motekaityte often comes from guard Belen Armengol, who posted seven points, eight rebounds and three assists in the last game, and forward Maria Rosales.

Edbaser will rely on Peregrina and Paula Sans, who contributed 12 points and five rebounds in the most recent defeat.

The schedule shows divergent paths ahead. Following this contest, CB Isla Bonita hosts Magectias on April 18, while Edbaser travels to face Plasencia the same day.

Tipoff is Saturday in Andratx.
