GRANADA, Spain (Interstat) — Two teams seeking to halt prolonged slides will meet Sunday when Almeda visits GMASB in a Spain LF women’s professional basketball matchup.

The game at Granada features clubs with a combined 8-32 record across all competitions this season. Almeda (5-15) enters on a three-game losing streak, while GMASB (3-17) has lost four consecutive contests.

In their first meeting this season on Nov. 22, 2025, Almeda edged GMASB 70-65. Both teams will look to key players to reverse recent fortunes.

For Almeda, forward Laura Tierno has been a consistent contributor. She is coming off a 12-point, 8-rebound performance in a narrow 58-56 loss to Viladecans on Feb. 28. Tierno also scored 16 points in a win over Magectias on Feb. 14.

GMASB will rely on guard Rosa Revueltas, who has been a bright spot during the team’s struggles. She averaged 16.3 points over her last three games in February, including a 17-point, 7-rebound effort in the 57-51 loss to Segle XXI on Feb. 28.

Almeda’s recent defeat to Viladecans saw Mar Coll Vinent add 10 points and nine rebounds, and Clara Tapia chip in 10 points and four assists. GMASB, in its latest loss, received 10 points from Carmen Villanueva alongside Revueltas’s output.

Both teams have found victories scarce. Almeda’s last win was Feb. 14, while GMASB’s most recent triumph was a 75-70 home victory over Magectias on Jan. 31.

Following Sunday’s contest, Almeda will host Segle XXI on March 14. GMASB will travel to face Edbaser on the same date.
