Ragusa vs. KASL Split
Preview: Ragusa Looks to Continue Momentum Against Struggling KASL Split
SPLIT, Croatia (Interstat) — A mid-table Ragusa squad will look to capitalize on a struggling opponent when it visits KASL Split in a women’s professional basketball game Saturday.
The matchup at Split in Split, Croatia, pits two teams on divergent paths in the latter part of the season. Ragusa (12-12 overall) enters at .500, fresh off a dominant 102-62 road victory over Zadar on March 28. KASL Split (5-14) seeks to halt a two-game skid and find consistency after a difficult campaign.
The teams’ previous meeting this season was a one-sided affair, with Ragusa routing KASL Split 90-39 on Dec. 6, 2025.
A key player for Ragusa will be Iva Todoric. The forward is coming off a well-rounded performance in the win over Zadar, contributing 15 points, five rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes. In her previous game, a loss to Pozega, she nearly recorded a triple-double with 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
KASL Split will lean heavily on the production of Lauren Wasylson. The guard has been a bright spot despite recent losses, scoring 30 points with eight rebounds against Zagreb on March 29 and 24 points against Sibenik on March 22. Her scoring burst will be essential for a team that has struggled to keep pace offensively.
Ragusa’s recent form has been uneven, mixing blowout wins with narrow losses. Following its 40-point win over Zadar, it fell 65-54 at Pozega on March 21.
KASL Split’s last outing was an 87-70 defeat at Zagreb, where Wasylson and Aliyah Deen Ahmad (27 points, 12 rebounds) combined for 57 points but received little supporting help. The team has lost four of its last five games.
The game represents a critical opportunity for Ragusa to solidify its standing and build momentum before hosting Tresnjevka on April 18. For KASL Split, it is a chance to spring an upset and gain confidence before a road trip to Rijeka on April 18.
Tipoff is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026.
