KAUNAS, Lithuania (Interstat) — RSU Merks will visit Aistes LSU Kaunas on Wednesday in a women’s professional basketball game, with both clubs seeking a second win of the young season.

RSU Merks brings a 1-1 record into the matchup. The visitors won their most recent game, defeating Liepajas Papirs/LSSS 75-62. Madlena Perse, a player to watch for RSU Merks, finished that contest with 10 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one block in 23 minutes. Samanta Gabranova added 11 points and six rebounds in 31 minutes, while Emilija Trofimenko scored 15 points with three rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes. RSU Merks’ other result this season was an 87-75 loss to Rokiskis. Perse also had three points and five rebounds in 23 minutes in that game. RSU Merks opened the season with the loss to Rokiskis before rebounding against Liepajas Papirs/LSSS.
